We got a few more photos from the Manchester come New York (really..?) set of Captain America: The First Avenger, to add to the ones cropping up on the Internet. T
These photos were taken by Drew Curry’s school friend, Patrick Stewart, who was taking time out from his full time job attending STNG & X-Men conferences. He was sussing out if Captain America : The First Avenger has enough gravitas to become the third gravy boat, er, franchise for him to sign up as a cast member. Patrick can be seen vaguely in the reflection of one the photos, contemplating the royalties.
Director Joe Johnston is directing the World War II-set movie, which sees Chris Evans as titled superhero. Sebastian Stan is playing sidekick Bucky Barnes, while Hayley Atwell is the hero’s love interest, Peggy Carter.
The First Avenger: Captain America is slated for a 22nd July 2011 release date, whilst The Avengers (a team up consisting of Captain America, Iron Man and Thor amongst others) has a 4th May 2012 release date yet to be confirmed.
