GSFN Show 28: The Magic Closet

More music mayhem kick starts the Gay Sci-Fi Nerds Podcast Show as Skip and Drew bring you some sci-fi and fun news that’s caught their interest this past week.

Sssh! Keep the magic closet a secret!

GSFN News brings you Jason Statham on the stupid warning message tacked on front of his new film Death Race. The going battle between in orthodontics catches Ricky Gervais in American v British Teeth. Michael Moore’s Slacker Uprising film is the first full featured film available to download for free (in the USA only – though Skip and Drew recommend those outside the US to look at Hotspot Shield). Bono and The Edge work their musical magic for Spider-Man the Musical. In local creamy Devoniashire news, Monty Python’s Life of Brian in Torbay finally reaches the big screen after 28 years of being banned. Resurrected Hammer Films finds new life with its first film. New Megatron design for Transformer’s: Revenge of the Fallen leaked onto the internet. George Michael arrested… again and finally, new series of Heroes, Fringe and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles start in the UK.

Skip and Drew also review the new BBC series Merlin. Seems like Colin Morgan (Merlin), Bradley James (Prince Arthur Pendragon) and Anthony Head (yes please – ahem… Uther Pendragon) are catching not only the interest of your hosts but also a lot of people out there as they lust over the main male leads and ponder their sexuality.

Finally Skip and Drew are saddened to hear about the death of Paul Newman, a beautiful man and wonderful actor.
