Pottermore revealed

JK Rowling has finally announced what the new Pottermore website, that appeared a few days ago is all about. In a video posted on YouTube, JK Rowling reveals what fans can expect when the site officially opens to everyone in October.

Pottermore will be an “online reading experience unlike any other… It’s the same story with a few crucial additions, the most important one is you.

Essentially it’s a place where fans can exclusively purchase ebooks and audio versions of the Harry Potter books, as well a new materials that never made it into the seven books. Along side this will be a place fan fans to interact on a social networking level, built around the books. For those who visit Pottermore on 31st July, fans can find out how to get the chance to enter early.
