This is the latest trailer for the Robert Rodriguez and 20th Century Fox reboot of the Predator franchise. I have to say that this looks better with every video released to date. This is one movie I’m really looking forward to. Guns, macho men, aliens and blood, what more could I ask for in a film?
Predators, a bold new chapter in the Predator universe, shot under the creative auspices of Robert Rodriguez, stars Adrien Brody as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realise they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the notable exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers — mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members — human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien predators.
Predators, directed by Nimród Antal, will be released on 8th July and stars Adrien Brody, Laurence Fishburne, Alice Braga, Danny Trego, Oleg Taktarov, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, Walter Goggins, and Topher Grace.
Seriously, Everything from that movie looks amazing. I really hope they won’t disappoint us. Because most of the time this year when i have likes a trailer and wanted to see a movie it turned out to be shit (A Nightmare on Elm Street (Though when i saw Michael Bay’s name in the trailer i started to have my doubts lol), Clash of the Titans, The Last Airbender (haven’t seen but man the reviews and the fans of the show are tearing that s*** to pieces.) So i’m excited, but afraid about this one. And also i gotta say, Topher Grace got cute XD
The Last Airbender has had bad reviews from just about everyone so I think that’ll be one for when it appears on the movie channels.
A Nightmare on Elm wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Some parts were actually very, very good and I loved the new take on Freddy’s background story and his connection with the children of Elm Street.
Clash of the Titans too was okay. We saw it as a normal 2D screening as I’d heard the 3D made it worse. Here’s hoping the planned sequel is better handled.
As for Predators, the trailer does look really good and yes Topher Grace, despite the homicidal nature of his character, is cute (perhaps he’d rape and then kill – or kill and then rape?).
