The guys behind the fan made web series Star Trek Phase II decided to restore the Prime timeline that J.J. Abrams, rewrote in 2009′s Star Trek. Series creator James Cawley (who plays Kirk in the Star Trek Phase II episodes) says that the featurette was “just a bit of fun for the purists.”
