New The Dark Knight Rises trailer

New trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, with some dramatic hints at an epic fight scene between Batman and Bane.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale (“The Fighter”) again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard (“La Vie en Rose”), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar(R) winner Michael Caine (“The Cider House Rules”) plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar(R) winner Morgan Freeman (“Million Dollar Baby”) reprises the role of Lucius Fox. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster “The Dark Knight.” The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

The Dark Knight Rises UK release date is Friday 20th July 2012.

Man of Steel shows off his biceps and bulge in new costume

Photos of Henry Cavill as Superman in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, perfectly showing of his biceps and bulge have appeared on the Internet. SuperHeroHype recently posted the below photos, taken from one of the filming shoots. Click the gallery thumbnails.

There’s been a huge debate over the costume. Some don’t like the added the gaunlets and detailing around the waist. There’s also the omission of the red trunks, which I miss as it draws the eye nicely to… well you get the picture.

So what do you think about the costume?

Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix and Laurence Fishburne. It is scheduled for release 14th July 2013.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance trailer

Trailer for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance starring Nicholas Cage as Jonny Blaze/Ghost Rider. The first Ghost Rider movie was panned, but I quite liked parts of it. Here’s hoping the sequel will be better…

An yes that does appear to be Ghost Rider pissing fire. One for the water sports masochist methinks!
